Hi Guys. I have a 2004 Focus 1.8TDCI, Last year the tubo went and we had to replace it. Since then there seems to be a lot more turbo lag than before. Certain roads/junctions/hills that i drive on regulaly i now have to use a gear lower than i did before. For example, in 3rd gear the turbo used to kick in between 1500 and 1800 rpm, now i have

For anyone else trying to find torque numbers for engine mounts for 1.8 tdci mk2 Focus, here are the screen grabs from the workshop manual: Bottom gearbox mount (ford name: engine support insulator) Havent found the picture for other screw on the bottom gearbox mount. I would use the same 48 Nm.

Expand. There are few points to take care of when replacing the fuel filter with 1.8tdci: - gasket need to be positioned between the lid and the filter. Putting the gasket btw filter and the filter housing is going to cause air locks, in this case you need a new gasket positioned properly.
